The project involves the replacement of the existing 220kV Bidnal-Harti-Gadag DC line with High Performance Conductor (HPC) over a distance of approximately 53.207 kilometers, including modifications to terminal bays at various substations. Additionally, it includes the conversion of existing DC AAAC Moose conductor to HPC from the 400/220kV Devanahalli KIADB Hardware Park substation to multiple other substations, along with necessary modifications and decommissioning works.
